Provide delivery of meal carts or trays to units. Assist with preparing, delivery and cleanup of between meal nourishment. Responsible for pickup of food carts and delivery to dish room. Must be able to read at a 10th grade level. Must be able to take and follow instructions given by supervisor. Assist in the receiving and storage of food supplies. Operate dish machine to clean resident trays. Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments. Follow Department's safety and sanitation guidelines. Clean all food service delivery equipment and dishware. Must be able to push/pull 50lbs. or more daily. Performs other duties as may be assigned that are within Dietary department's mission and as situations warrant in meeting the overall needs of the facility. Follows work flow sheets for all assigned tasks daily/weekly and have shift supervisor check assignments before shift end. Cross trains in all dietary work areas to ensure proficiency. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.Minimum QualificationsNeeds to have knowledge of food service sanitation guidelines. This position is fast-paced and requires total focus on assigned tasks in order for meal items to be prepared in a timely manner. Will date and label all food items according to local and state guidelines.
