JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to provide services that ensure patients, visitors and colleagues meet daily nutritional requirements. Effectively operate the meal ordering application and provide phone assistance necessary to maintain communications of the Food and Nutrition Service Department with the patients and guests within the Medical Center. Provides meal answering service for four of Saint Joseph Health System (SJHS) locations. (Mish, Plym, Rehab and Kindred). Responsible for replenishing nourishments/floor stock; working tray line including patient tray delivery, cleaning and taking temperatures as required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Knowledge and experience in food service desired. On the job training provided. Experience in answering multi-line phones and customer service preferred. Basic computer knowledge desired.
