**Job Description:**
Highland Hospital is seeking a full time Diet Technician to work Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm (start time may be flexible). No weekends required but expectation is to work 3 holidays per year.
The position is responsible for obtaining patient meal selections, completing nutrition screens, re-assessments, diet education, and documentation of all inpatients as directed by dietitians, department policies and procedures, physician orders, and staff recommendations. Assist with answering phones of the diet office as assigned.
**Salary Range:**
$18.30 - $24.77 an hour

**Job Requirements:**
1. Education: AAS or BS with major studies in food, nutrition, or health within 6 months of hire.
2. Experience: one year of experience in health care setting is preferred.
3. License/Certification Required: Dietetic Technician Registered preferred.
4. Skills: Ability to interact with patients providing excellent customer service
