Sodexo is seeking a part time Dietetic Technician for Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital level I Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU located in St. Louis, Missouri. Position will work part time ~ 24 hours per week.

The successful candidate will:

* perform nutrition screening of patients and assess nutrition risk levels per established criteria;

* provide appropriate nutrition education based upon patient/family learning needs and abilities;

* plan menus and nourishments with patients to meet individual nutrition care needs in accordance with diet order, patient preferences, and allergies/intolerances;

* participate in performance improvement initiatives with the goal of increasing patient satisfaction; and

* participate in departmental activities, meetings, committees and other nutrition related tasks.

* Associate in Applied Science Degree in Dietetic Technology OR Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics;

* strong knowledge base of diet and related medical nutrition therapies;

* sound nutrition education and counseling skills;

* interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse population and collaborate in a team environment; and

* good time management skills and be a self-starter.
