39307275*Overview*Evaluates, assesses, and plans nutrition care to meet patient nutritional needs.*Responsibilities** Assesses patient nutritional status using documented medical information and established nutritional standards.* Counsels patients and/or families by identifying nutrition-related problems. Develops plans of instruction and nutritional care, and monitoring results.* Identifies inpatients at nutritional risk and documents recommendations.* Diagnose and develop intervention for patients with malnutrition* Participates in physicians' rounds, discharge planning rounds, and conferences with nutritional implications.* Conducts education programs for patients, community groups, and staff.* Precept and mentor new staff or existing staff in clinical specialty area.* Develop therapeutic relationships with multiple subspecialty care team members and providers that enables planning and participating across a broader spectrum patient care.* Cross-covers a broader spectrum of patient care areas and subspecialties as needed.* Performs other duties as required or assigned.*Qualifications* * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in nutritional sciences (prior to 2024). * Master's Degree from an accredited program in nutritional sciences (2024 and after). * Minimum 2 years' related experience preferred. *Required Licensure/Certifications*- Current NH Dietitian license.- Current Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.* *Remote:* Hybrid Remote;* *Area of Interest:* Allied Health;* *FTE/Hours per pay period:* .01 hrs/per week (per diem/temp);* *Shift:* Day;* *Job ID:* 28434;Dartmouth Health is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
