Role Overview:

Sodexo is seeking a Dietitian Nutritionist I for Naples Community Health Care System located in Southwest region of Florida, in Naples. The Dietitian will provide medical nutrition therapy, assess nutritional needs, developing and implementing nutritional care plans and participating in patients/staff education and performance improvement activities. NCH is a growing healthcare system with opportunities for advancement and growth!

What You'll Do:

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;

• work every fourth weekend providing hospital wide coverage;

• perform quality improvement initiatives such as quality improvement audits;

• diet education for team members and staff; and precept dietetic interns.

What You Bring:

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in Florida;

• strong verbal and written communication skills;

• good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player; and the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
