Sodexo is seeking a fulltime Registered Dietitian at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital, located in Tarboro, NC. This position is ~80% inpatient care and 20% outpatient oncology. This 117-bed acute care facility is approximately 70 miles east of Raleigh and 28 miles west of Greenville.

No in-person weekends!

Some remote work available!

Start with 3 weeks' vacation and 3 personal days!Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;
• Provide outpatient counseling in the cancer center;
• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;
• educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; and
• work closely with the Clinical Nutrition Manager to provide exemplary patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
