Job Description
TwoSix Digital, a digital marketing agency serving the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries, is seeking a Digital Advertising Strategist to join our team. The Strategist will assist with the planning, development, execution, and optimization of integrated digital marketing campaigns.
This individual will develop, manage, and communicate campaign results to an internal team and directly with customers. The campaigns will cover a variety of digital and social media channels and include website and social media analytics analysis and reporting.
The role requires a progressive thinker, innovator, and analyst of digital, social, and mobile marketing platforms.
Knowledge of online ad platforms that include Meta, TikTok, Google AdWords/YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
· Assist with developing and managing digital marketing plans and campaigns
· Oversee and manage advertising campaigns multiple social channels and make recommendations on campaign enhancements and improvements
· Work with internal team on content strategy and ad calendars
· Manage content creation to ensure it exemplifies brand standards established by the organization and/or client
· Effectively execute social and digital programs through the use of insights, competitive research analysis and analytics
· Analyze digital/social metrics and analytics to reveal trends and improve campaign performance
· Understand the importance of ROI and apply that knowledge to client campaigns and business goals
In addition to the listed job functions, the Digital Advertising Strategist will possess the following qualities:
· Ability to write for different audiences and think critically about what appeals most to each, while maintaining brand standards for voice and persona
· Experience working with various digital development formats and a strong understanding of ever-evolving creative possibilities within social media platforms
· Ability to write consumer-facing copy in the digital space along with being able to take direction from marketing teams
· Strong organizational skills, flexibility and endurance are needed to multi-task across many projects with varying deadlines
· An ownership mentality with the ability to think independently, self-learn, and create and develop ideas that lead to positive change/improvements
· Must be able to accept changes readily, both in job responsibilities as well as work environment
· Demonstrated data analysis and research skills
· Working knowledge of SEO and SEM
· Ad platforms for digital and social media marketing
· Strong communication, research, presentation and creative skills
· Proficient in social media publishing and analytics tools including Google Looker Studio and Supermetrics
Education, requirements and additional skills:
· Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
· 2-3 years of relevant experience in digital and social marketing, experience as an account executive, marketing manager, or social community manager, including specific experience executing digital marketing plans
· Previous destination marketing or hospitality and tourism industry experience is preferred but not required
Salary and Benefits:
The position salary range is between $50,000-$60,000 and includes health insurance, vacation pay, Simple IRA program with company match and year-end company profit sharing bonus.
We work in a “Hub and Home” environment. Candidates are not required to be located in the metro Detroit area. Applicants can work remotely.
