Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Art Manager with a strong marketing background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing digital assets across Hydroviv's website, social media messaging, paid media, and email campaigns. This role requires a mix of creativity, technical skill, and digital media expertise, with an emphasis on producing visually engaging and brand-appropriate content.
Core role and responsibilities:
Digital Asset Creation:
- Design compelling digital assets for various channels, including website graphics, social media posts, email templates, and online ads
- Produce high-quality visuals that align with brand guidelines and elevate the brand's digital presence
- Develop video content, animations, interactive elements, and motion graphics to enhance the user experience and engagement
Design Optimization and Iteration:
- Continuously improve digital designs based on performance data, A/B testing, and user feedback
- Adapt assets across multiple formats and platforms, ensuring optimal performance and visual quality
- Collaborate with marketing and ecommerce teams to refine designs and enhance user journeys
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, eCommerce, and product teams, to ensure cohesive and effective visual storytelling
- Coordinate with copywriter to ensure messaging is easily consumed and supported with strong visual storytelling
- Communicate design concepts and decisions effectively to stakeholders, explaining the rationale behind design choices
Brand and Style Consistency:
- Uphold and apply brand standards, maintaining visual consistency across all digital content
- Evolve and contribute to style guides, templates, and libraries to support brand cohesion and streamline the design process
Innovation and Trend Awareness:
- Stay informed on current design trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating best practices into projects
- Track competitors and influential creative in the online storytelling space across the marketing funnel
- Identify and recommend new tools, software, and resources to improve design quality and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Experience managing and delegating work to freelancers
- 5+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer digital design and marketing creative production across the marketing funnel, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital and interactive work.
- Advanced proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and digital design tools like Figma or Sketch.
- Strong understanding of web design principles, UI/UX fundamentals, and best practices in responsive design.
- Experience in video editing, animation, and/or motion graphics is highly desirable.
