JOB MISSION: New Balance's Digital Operations team is responsible for the vendor partnership and system Administration of the Brand DAM. This includes ongoing management, use and flow of the brand's product creation digital content within the DAM and distribution across platforms. This team owns and manages the asset creation and validation process and asset flow through the creation lifecycle and the analogous data, analytics, lifecycle, and tag management. Digital Operations team members are key partners in our brand's digital transformation, building critical digital infrastructure and ever ready collaborative partners to enable and support optimized security and usability of content. Cross functional collaboration with partners from around the globe, internal and external, is essential in delivering, managing, and maintaining processes and content that serve all customers on our brand digital path forward. As DAM administrator you own the overall management of the DAM, data, data and visual quality, and visual content. You will partner with your IT PO team to collaborate and drive enhancements, support technical requirements and fixes and drive process and functionality enhancements. The core focus of the DAM is to serve a diverse group of customers that includes NB associates and external partners, product teams, and business processes and platforms. Our vision is to create a beautiful brand experience through state-of-the-art service and platform interactions.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Day-to- day operations and overall governance to ensure the proper creation, implementation, availability, maintenance, and management of the DAM platform, it's content and workflows.
- Partner with brand internal customers is critical for success.
- As technology, content and use cases continue to evolve these partnerships are the foundation for successfully delivering while maintaining standards in security, quality, and process in real time and across seasons.
- Interface with key partners and cross-functional stakeholders to support and lead execution of the DAM vision, brand requirements, and drive improvements to support the Digital Operations Road Map.
- Lead ideation and requirements gathering, oversee platform development and the launch of new features, enhancements, integrations, and analytic capabilities.
- Maintain best practice asset management and contribute to standards and governance by being in line with industry best practices. This role is a critical role in the digital transformation of the brand.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: - Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree, preferred.
- 3-5 years of direct experience as a DAM system Admin, Content Librarian, or similar role
- Experience working with DAM platforms, experience with WIDEN desirable.
- Data literate with strong data management and analytical skills a must.
- Proactive and creative problem solver, highly organized, deadline-oriented, schedule driven, with good written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to establish and enforce standards.
- Comfortable with APIs, data entry, and reporting
- Successful with both cross-functional and independent work managing multiple projects and day-to-day operations simultaneously.
- Strong grasp of digital asset management fundamentals and industry best practices.
- Informed about latest Digital Asset Management technology trends and innovations.
- Constantly aware of the latest changes to DAM system functionalities and roadmap, and plan for change in advance
- This is a hybrid role and expected to be in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
