Proskauer is searching for a creative, visual storyteller with experience in film and media production, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will harness your expertise in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator to produce innovative and impactful graphics and visuals supporting the Firm's digital marketing efforts across all video, podcast, web, social and email communications channels.The Digital Communications Coordinator will have exposure to a wide range of promotional projects and initiatives associated with the many industries and services in which the Firm engages, and the cultural, social and community activities of the Firm. This position is ideal for a passionate, artistic professional who exhibits creative and technical ability, and one who offers fresh and innovative approaches to elevating the Firm's digital media storytelling. They will be immersed in a highly active and collaborative environment, working on a variety of projects simultaneously, that will challenge them to adapt quickly to changing requirements, develop creative solutions to meet marketing objectives and build appealing visuals that enhance the brand and reputation of the Firm.Responsibilities
  • Edit video and audio; create animations for Firm marketing projects using the Adobe Creative Suite and work closely with Firm in-house design team professionals and external marketing agencies on the development of branding for digital marketing projects.
  • Develop and maintain visual branding and animation packages for various marketing campaigns; help ensure a cohesive and striking visual identity across channels, campaigns and all audience touchpoints; and work closely with communications and digital marketing teams to refresh and update Firm digital marketing visuals.
  • Collaborate with the broader Communications and Client Development teams to formulate and execute project plans for multimedia communications and digital marketing projects in support of the Firm's business and cultural initiatives.
  • Coordinate and assist with the planning and production of Firm videos and podcasts; develop project briefs, timetables and schedules; prep on-camera/on-air talent for interviews; and collaborate with other Communications team members on the distribution and promotion of content across all Firm marketing channels.
  • Ensure all digital marketing content maintains the consistency and integrity of the Firm's brand.
  • Organize and maintain digital marketing project calendars, develop and communicate regular project status reports to Firm and department leadership, coordinate all project communications with stakeholders, and create reports on project outcomes.
  • Help with setup, recording and strike for on-site and location productions; organize and help manage production shoots, including handling talent; assist with studio operations and workflows; and maintain inventory of audio/video equipment.
  • Attend Firm-sponsored events to assist with capturing video, conducting interviews and recording b-roll, for promotional and social media use.
  • Plan, edit and publish digital marketing content to Firm social media, blog and web channels.
  • Work closely with Firm public relations team on media and on-camera training requirements for key personnel.
  • Stay current with industry trends in digital media communications and offer insights, help formulate concepts, and pitch ideas for new opportunities to evolve and improve Firm digital marketing and branding efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in a video-, marketing- or communications-related discipline with 2+ years of experience
  • Proficient with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator and efficient motion graphics and video editing workflows. Portfolio of work samples preferred.
  • Experience working on marketing and branding campaigns
  • Photography and graphic design skills a plus
  • Understanding of all major social media platforms
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient with MS Office applications
  • Ability to work independently, meet multiple tight deadlines and deliver detailed and accurate work product
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to confidently work with all levels of lawyers and management
  • Must be a team player and have flexibility to work after hours and travel if needed
This position will require physical presence in Proskauer's offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $60,000 - $80,000.
