Team / Role OverviewEnterprise Services and Public Affairs (ESPA) seeks to enhance and protect the reputation of Citi, its businesses and the brand through direct and indirect communication with Citi's various stakeholders, including our colleagues. The Global Communications team is a nimble group in Enterprise Services and Public Affairs that covers a broad scope of responsibilities, ranging from executive communications and public engagements to quarterly earnings and corporate reputation programs as well as communications that support our lines of business. The nature of the work provides a dynamic environment where members of the team serve as company spokespeople to media, drive engagement with colleagues and develop external and internal digital communications for a global workforce of more than 200,000 colleagues. We always bring a client service attitude to our work and always strive to be energetic and maintain a good sense of humor.The Digital Content Manager is a key member of the Communications team within Enterprise Services and Public Affairs. You will work with senior leadership and partners throughout the Global Communications organization and businesses to support reputation management and drive engagement on Citi's digital channels. The person in this role should be comfortable working across various team functions in support of larger communications goals and will be actively involved in content management and development, process management, measurement and user experience.What you'll doIn partnership with the Head of Digital Content and Social Media, develop and drive Citi's digital content strategy on Citigroup.com Work with the team to advance Citi's core communications goals and objectivesAct as day-to-day lead for content on Citigroup.com, liaising between technology and communications, marketing or business stakeholders to make regular content updates, support core initiatives and execute campaigns on Citigroup.comLead editorial strategy on the Citigroup.com newsroomCollaborate with technology, platform and agency partners to manage enhancements for both day-to-day functionality and larger strategic initiativesProvide guidance and counsel on content distributionWork with stakeholders to create custom web experiences surrounding key events and activations, acting as a strategic counselor and seamlessly balancing new requests against existing priorities and firmwide initiatives Assist in sourcing and developing creative assets for optimal use and performance across channels, partnering with creative and media teams when neededSupport digital and social media elements of live and virtual live events in partnership with PR, production and digital teamsUse metrics reports, monitoring to continually adapt and improve Citi's web presenceBe knowledgeable about new trends, best practices and opportunities in the digital space, identifying white space and opportunities for CitiBe a steward of brand voice, being mindful of consistency across business units and activationsPartner closely with Communications leadership and teams to inform and advise on both ongoing communications work and areas of opportunityAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standardsWhat we'll need from youBachelor's degree or equivalent in business management, communications, marketing or another related fieldKnowledge of communications or marketing and experience of increased responsibility, preferably with a large and complex organizationExperience distilling complex subject matter into easily-understood digital contentStrong understanding of web content and optimizing user experienceExperience interfacing and collaborating with individuals in technical rolesAptitude for developing and shaping compelling content for internal and external audiencesAbility to adapt copy across social and digital channels Knowledge and ability to apply fundamentals of Search Engine OptimizationSubject matter expertise in social media platforms and trendsKnowledge of social media channels and platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)Familiarity with content management tools such as SprinklrStrong attention to detailA leader who will implement initiatives effectively and proactively drive projects forwardStrong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executivesIntegrity, maturity, dependability, a positive professional attitudeA team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to carry out their workExcellent organizational and project management skillsExperience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment within a heavily matrixed organizationTrack record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Communications and External Relations------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Communications Management------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$129,840.00 - $194,760.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
