About the Role:

As the Digital Design Director you will be a thought leader and strategic partner in the development of our digital flagship and digital touchpoints. You will lead the graphic design direction across various digital channels for brand.com/DTC including website, email, and paid social advertising. Your role will involve collaborating closely with our Global Creative, Ecommerce and Marketing teams to develop and ideate creative concepts that bring all of our marketing stories to life across brand.com while adhering to our campaign and brand guidelines. Ensuring that projects are visually captivating, engaging, and effective within the digital space. We are looking for an enthusiastic strategically minded Design Director who can do hands-on design as well as lead a team of designers.

  • Create and oversee the production of visual elements, including but not limited to graphic, illustrations, layouts, for DTC website and CRM - ensuring they meet brief requirements and brand guidelines
  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to ensure the delivery of high-quality creative work
  • Partner closely with our Global Creative Team to ensure campaign guidelines are adhered to and translated properly within the digital space
  • Guide the creation of engaging digital content, including website design, mobile application, email campaigns, and digital advertising
  • Bring forward the most innovative creative techniques, design trend, and innovations - driving vision and insights to design and strategy
  • Collaborate with the UX/UI team to ensure user-friendly designs that are on brand
  • Utilize the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies to create innovative digital experiences
  • Improve and manage the creative process, workflow deliverables and team utilization to deliver outstanding visual projects
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including close partnership with Ecommece and Marketing to understand project requirements and objectives
  • Present concepts and design to internal teams, articulating creative ideas effectively
  • Help maintain a cohesive visual identity and ensure consistency across channels, partnering closely with Global Creative leads
About You:
  • Minimum 8+ years of design experience
  • Experience working in prestige beauty, luxury or fashion industries
  • 2-3 years people management experience
  • BA or BFA preferred in Graphic Design or Visual Communication Design
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign XD and Figma
  • Mastery of design fundamentals, including strong typographic skills, with strong experience in digital design + motion graphics
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities
  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate and work with a variety of people in various disciplines
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge and experience in retail, hair/beauty/fashion and an understanding of current industry trends
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines

Our Total Rewards:

The annual base pay for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
