Job Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining organization and standard processing procedure of seized and recovered electronic media from clients.
Essential Duties:
* Receive and log all seized recovered electronic media into spreadsheets as well as ERIN (when applicable).
* Create proper documentation for all recovered electronic media including proper completion of chain of custody paperwork.
* Take clear digital photos of all seized evidence.
* Effectively handle biohazard evidence.
* Support the clients and departments within the business unit by communicating the status of inventory.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
* Understanding of computers, document management; internet; hardware and software troubleshooting; electronic mail systems, such as Exchange and
Outlook; Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree or Associates degree in Digital Forensics, Business or related field
* Proficient in Excel
* Possession of professional certifications and membership in professional associations is highly desirable
Physical Requirements:
* While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
* Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
