VideosDuties
  • Monitors Web Support request box and works with contractor team to prioritize requests and implement updates to SBA.gov.
  • Reviews and updates Web content for various programmatic content areas. Makes recommendations and implements recommended approaches using the Drupal Content Management System.
  • Evaluates Web statistics, analyzes trends and compiles reports that include recommendations for site updates, tools, and strategies.
  • Applies high-level project management techniques and best practices to the planning, development and implementation of SBA's Web content development and communications projects.
  • Facilitates individual and group communications with diverse staff members and contractors and takes the lead on managing project-related meetings and follow-up conversations. Works closely with contractor and OCIO content and development teams.

QualificationsGS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: experience in a communications or marketing department of digital content including Web content, Web design and/or Web tools developed for the agency's primary website, using Drupal content management system (CMS) and Agile project management methodologies; and develops communications standards, requirements and guidelines related to digital and Website content; and thorough understanding of Federal government website standards, policies and requirements pertaining to digital transformation and customer service, 508 accessibility, language translation and branding.
