Job Title: Digital Marketing Analyst (Contract) - Job#4196Location: Remote Job Description: Our client, an eCommerce startup backed by a major media conglomerate has an immediate requirement for a Digital Marketing Analyst to join their team. Responsibilities:
  • Facebook Campaigns. Work in Facebook Business Manager to manage spending for campaigns that someone else sets up. Turn campaigns on and off as needed. Answer questions about campaign performance using Facebook standard tools. Monitor and respond to user comments about ad campaigns.
  • Facebook and Instagram posts. Make posts for our own social accounts, using images and text created by other groups. Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective cross-tagging.
  • Email marketing. Write drafts, get approvals, coordinate with other functions, and then send emails to local businesses and Chambers of Commerce to support Reader's Choice contests. Find email addresses for targeted local businesses by calling them. Track email results using standard tools on a system like Mailchimp, Sailthru or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Google search. Use Google Keyword Planner and Forecasting tool to perform on-going Google CPC forecasting and estimates, including search volume. Look up weekly search rankings for key pages.
  • Google Analytics. Answer simple marketing questions by using standard Google Analytics reports.
  • Google Data Studio and Looker. For existing reports, apply necessary changes to keep them current. Help other colleagues with basic how to questions about existing reports. Pull basic reports from Google Data Studio and Looker.
Required:
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can work dynamically with minimum supervision
  • Great planning, organizing and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to maintain constructive work relationships with internal and external clients and vendors
  • Extreme attention to detail; accuracy in following instructions and details; strong follow-up skills
  • Demonstrated success working in a very fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires a great deal of coordination across various colleagues in different organizations.
  • At least 3 years hands-on experience with the following digital marketing tools: Facebook Business Manager (paid campaigns), Facebook and Instagram organic posting, Sailthru or equivalent email system such as Mailchimp, Google Keyword Planner, Google Forecasting tools, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio or Looker (or equivalent such as Power BI or Tableau).
  • Native English speaker. Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Power user of standard productivity tools including Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Slack/Teams/Zoom.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and data. Advanced data analytics skills are not required, but learning opportunities are available.
  • Able to easily work on Eastern time in a sustained manner
  • College degree
