Job Title: Digital Marketing Contractor Location: Waltham, MA(Remote) Duration: 5 Months+ (Possible Extension) Pay range: $27.46/hr. on w2Job Summary:
  • The Digital Marketing Contractor will partner with internal marketing colleagues to develop and define the digital paid media strategy, and assist them in planning, negotiation, execution, optimization, and measurement of results for 3rd Party Paid Media (Display advertising).
  • This is a hands-on role focused on campaign management and execution.
  • As a secondary responsibility, they may assist in Paid Search (PPC) campaigns as needed, collaborating with our marketers and agency partners to plan, develop, and execute the launch of new campaigns, or make updates and optimizations to existing ones.
  • The Digital Marketing Contractor will manage efforts to plan, buy, execute, optimize, and measure the performance of digital paid media investments globally.
  • Their responsibility is to partner with our marketing colleagues to assist them in planning, negotiation, execution, optimization, and measurement of results for 3rd Party Paid Media (Display advertising).
  • In addition, the role will have a secondary responsibility of supporting Search Engine Marketing (SEM)/Paid Search (PPC) campaigns.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • In collaboration with their manager, fellow team members, and Marketing colleagues, the Digital Marketing Contractor will:
  • Execute and manage direct paid media buys with 3rd party publishers.
  • Send RFPs to vendors, evaluate proposals, and negotiate media buys with 3rd party publishers.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and vendors regarding campaign requirements, deliverables, status, performance, and action items. This includes leading communications with colleagues, being quick to respond to requests, and setting up and leading calls as needed with marketing colleagues.
  • Own paid media campaign set up, including tracking implementation, ad trafficking, and reporting for Display campaigns and secondarily, PPC campaigns.
  • Work with fellow digital marketing team members and marketers to develop paid media plans, manage campaigns to adhere to given budgets, desired flights, and performance goals.
  • Have ongoing communication with fellow digital marketing team members to ensure the team is supported and that unique situations are handled and addressed as they arise.
  • Monitor and measure performance of digital marketing efforts via web analytics tools and provide corresponding analysis via monthly, quarterly, annual, and/or ad hoc reports.
  • Develop and/or adjust reports as needed to ensure reporting meets the needs of marketing colleagues.
  • Monitor and analyse digital analytics to identify and communicate opportunities, trends, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and provide recommendations to improve paid media campaign performance.
  • Function as a liaison between Marketing colleagues, vendors, and/or creative team to ensure creative development adheres to deadlines, that creative meets publisher ad specifications, aligns with company standards, and leverages industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with our marketers and agency partner to plan, develop, and execute the launch new Paid Search (PPC) campaigns, or make updates and optimizations to existing campaigns.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Paid Media professional with minimum 5 years of 3rd Party Paid Media (Display) advertising experience, and industry experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM)/Pay-Per-Click (PPC).
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to plan and prioritize projects and leverage project management tools.
  • Comfortable managing and analysing large sets of data.
  • Comfortable working in and using marketing management tools and reports, including but not limited to Google Ads, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Salesforce, and Eloqua, as well as project management tools.
  • Experience managing 3rd party media buys with or without the use of industry tools, such as ad servers.
  • Experience facilitating & negotiating direct buys with third party publishers.
  • Detail oriented, analytical, process oriented, innovative, creative.
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Flexible, with the ability to seamlessly pivot from one project to next.
