Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join the Digital Marketing Operations Team within Legrand's Central Marketing Department in West Hartford, CT. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of web, email, and marketing activities across multiple Legrand business units. The candidate will need to keep up with the current evolution of online marketing technology, have excellent organizational and time management skills, and have a drive for improvement to the business. This individual will operate within a complex organization and will work cross-functionally with multiple teams, businesses, and roles. What Will You Do?

  • Master the fundamentals of digital tools and processes, establish a strong grasp of each business divisions digital strategies, and build proficiency in digital best practices.
  • Support the various marketing and product teams across Legrand North Americas business units, prioritizing and executing the digital needs of multiple projects and campaigns.
  • Assist Digital Marketing Specialists in the day-to-day responsibilities of maintaining and updating multiple Legrand web properties and channels, ensuring a best-in-class experience for site users.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and execute digital product launches and email and web marketing campaigns in accordance with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with others within Central Marketing to operate special projects and department initiatives.
  • Implement and optimize personalized, targeted marketing campaigns through our digital platforms.
  • Assess customer needs and build understanding of the customer journey to enhance digital user experience.
  • Collaborate with SEO Specialists to implement SEO and SEM strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive traffic to our digital assets.
  • Measure and optimize email campaign performance to deliver relevant marketing content to customers and influencers at the right time during the buying cycle.
  • Effectively communicate technical messages to a non-technical audience.
  • Travel less than 10%.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or Technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 0-2 years in marketing, technology, or a related function.
  • Hands-on experience with key digital media disciplines/tools, such as: brand website management, social media marketing/community management, search engine optimization (SEO), user-generated content, and email marketing.
  • Working knowledge of website analytics and website conversion metrics (CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL).
  • Analytical skills to effectively assess and understand metrics and impact of digital initiatives.
  • Passion for digital media and devices, considers him/herself an 'early adopter' of digital trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive and hands-on attitude, ready to take on tasks with a can-do approach.
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • A self-starter, with the ability to thrive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally in an effective, professional, and collaborative manner.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, web programming, and content management systems (CMS) such as SAP Commerce (Hybris), Drupal, Sitecore, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, display advertising, search engine marketing (SEM), Google Analytics, Salesforce.com and/or Pardot.
  • Experience with digital writing such as email copy, subject lines, or web content.
