We're currently seeking a talented Digital Marketing Strategist to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our digital presence
The person in this role will manage a sales-based Email calendar with an entrepreneurial mindset — treating each campaign as if they were the sole owner, driving monthly sales, and growing revenue year over year.
As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation and competitive advantage by creating and executing cutting-edge digital strategies. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team of marketers passionate about delivering top-tier digital marketing solutions that enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth.
What You Will Be Doing: (responsibilities)
- Technical SEO & Website Management
- Manage multiple WordPress and Umbraco CMS-powered websites, as well as our custom-built Learning Management System (LMS).
- Conduct in-depth audits and purpose strategies to improve website performance, search engine rankings, and crawlability.
- Create clear, actionable statements of work for web development enhancements.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure site improvements align with strategic objectives and meet Statement of Work (SOW) requirements.
- Global Consent & Compliance Management
- Oversee global opt-in and consent management configurations using One Trust CMP
- Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA, by implementing and monitoring necessary policies and practices.
- Oversee and revise policies, including terms and conditions and privacy notices, to ensure ongoing compliance with changing legal regulations and industry best practices.
- Data Analytics
- Set up, configure, and manage multiple Google Analytics accounts, including defining and tracking custom dimensions, events, and goals.
- Troubleshoot tagging and ensure data integrity while implementing best practices for analytics and tracking across platforms
- Educate internal teams on Google Analytics best practices, ensuring stakeholders understand how to use the platform for informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of our Big Query data warehouse, ensuring data accessibility, proper organization and data confidence.
- Display Ad Management
- Manage Google Ad Manager implementation across PESI's network of websites.
- Develop strategies to enhance ad viewability, boost click-through rates and improve overall ad performance.
- Provide internal training on ad trafficking, reporting, and creative best practices for both static and HTML5 ads.
- Cross-Channel Operations
- Collaborate with internal teams (social media, search, email) and external partners to ensure cohesive, cross-channel strategies.
- Manage tracking pixels (Meta, Pinterest, Google Ads) through Google Tag Manager for performance monitoring and optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on e-commerce and technical SEO.
- Strong proficiency in developing and analyzing search engine performance, including hands-on experience with SEO audits and implementation.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude, coachable and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex strategies to stakeholders.
What would thrill us:
- In-depth knowledge of technical SEO, website architecture and structured data.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Experience configuring and deploying assets via Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Big Query or the Google Marketing platform.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a bonus.
