HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:
Success for this role will be measured in terms of your ability to manage online marketing campaigns focused on driving measurable business results through digital media strategy, particularly in paid search. You will be responsible for working with the team to develop and guide direction on client business through campaign management, media performance, and industry trends.
A successful Digital Media Manager has experience in the digital marketing field and core
campaign/account management competencies, with a focus on paid search. They are looking for mentorship and opportunity to partner with senior manager(s) and marketing/category directors to identify opportunities to impact performance and essentially grow the client's business. They are a leader/self-starter and understand a 360 approach to marketing, audience engagement and industry innovation. This role reports to the Associate Director of Paid Media.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Campaign Management: Set up, manage, and optimize digital marketing campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Programmatic, Display, and Microsoft Ads. This includes selecting target audiences, choosing the right keywords, setting budgets, and adjusting bids.
Data Analysis: Analyze digital marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Analysis would involve using digital analytics tools to track site traffic, engagement, and conversions.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on the performance of various digital marketing campaigns. Reports should encompass both insights and actionable recommendations for improving future campaigns.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement data-driven tactics for campaign optimization. Cross-department teamwork may consist of brainstorming new ideas, testing different strategies, and sharing best practices.
Market Research: Conduct market research to stay current with the latest digital marketing trends and identify new opportunities. This could involve reading industry reports, attending webinars, or networking with other professionals in the field.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects at a given time, ensuring that each one is completed on schedule and within budget. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Certification Management: Maintain up-to-date certifications in Google Ads and Google Marketing Platform, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads and other certification opportunities that demonstrate a high level of expertise in these platforms.
Tag Management: Implementation of Google Tag Manager to track user behavior, events and conversions on websites and improve the accuracy of digital analytics data.
Data Visualization: Create visual representations of digital marketing data to be easy to understand and interpret. Utilization of tools like Excel pivot tables or specialized data visualization software are essential.
Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other key stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to present reports, explain strategies, and provide updates on campaign performance.
Continuous Learning: Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to learn and grow. This may consist of seeking out professional development opportunities, reading industry publications, or attending relevant conferences and events.
