Job Description:

The Digital Media & Marketing Associate is responsible for creating digital content and leveraging digital marketing channels to promote Heritage Financials' services and brand through our website, social media, email and online advertising.

  • Collaborate with the firm's CMO to develop and execute content marketing strategies to build brand presence, attract our target audience, nurture prospects, retain clients, and drive engagement.

  • Act as the firm's primary owner of Hubspot marketing automation tools to execute tasks, craft email campaigns, manage subscriber lists, segment audiences, nurture leads, and personalize client and prospect experiences.

  • Create content in a variety of format types to help carry out the firm's marketing strategy including text (web pages, blogs, eBooks), graphics (images, infographics), videos (YouTube, Vimeo), audio (podcasts), as well as hard copy materials.

  • Leverage the firm's content by creating campaigns and managing the distribution across marketing channels.

  • Publish and optimize content for SEO, promote blog articles through social media and email marketing channels to drive organic traffic, enhance brand credibility, and nurture leads through the sales funnel.

  • Coordinate all marketing efforts with the Compliance department to ensure they comply with SEC marketing rules.

  • Measure and analyze performance metrics and assess goals. Provide internal reports on a regular basis.

  • Assist with paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, researching keywords, optimizing ad targeting, bidding strategies, and budgets to maximize ROI and achieve objectives such as lead generation or website traffic.

  • Understand and stay current with marketing trends, insights, and best practices for social media, advertising, content creation, and algorithms to maximize audience engagement and reach.

  • Adapt to changes in technology, consumer behavior, and market dynamics, adjusting strategies, tactics, and approaches to maintain relevance and competitiveness.

  • Secondary responsibility of assisting the firm's CMO in maintaining the firm's website via WordPress as needed. Web development work is not required.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Hubspot's Marketing Hub, certification preferred
  • Ability to execute an email campaign from beginning to end: building, execution, tracking and reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or related field
  • Skilled in producing short form video, producing audio, and creating custom graphics
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing and display advertising
  • Demonstrated success in driving website traffic, increasing engagement, and generating leads or conversions through digital channels
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Strong attention to detail and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
