Position Summary:
The Digital & Payment Services Clerk will perform various account transactions from member mail; including accurately processing mobile deposit checks and payments, reviewing accounts, and check assess risk, making appropriate decisions based on research.
Additional Responsibilities include:
- Charge fees incurred by members to the appropriate general ledger.
- Verify wires, as needed.
- Process daily GL movements for Orbipay.
- Process Mail a Check Activity Managers, Debit Card AM Audits, Stop Payment Share Draft AM's
- Back up for Department Activity Managers including but not limited to: Charge Off AM's,
- Accurately complete Unusual Activity Reports (UARs).
- Provide backup coverage for all the Account Operations printing and mailing requests.
- Process share draft and home equity check orders and manage their Activity Manager queues. Verify member check orders.
- Process Travel request Activity Manager items and provide backup assistance for travel requests submitted via Slack.
- Respond to Payment Services emails and Slacks in a timely manner to provide excellent support service to internal team members and external members.
- Assist Account Operations Departments with backup assistance, tasks, special projects or research as needed.
- May be required to work in other departments/locations within the Credit Union in positions for which the employee has previous experience or sufficient training, in order to maintain high levels of service to members.
- Perform other similar duties as requested or assigned by Supervisor.
High School Diploma; demonstrated ability to work as a team; excellent communication and computer skills. Qualified candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
Hours:Full time, 40 hours/week
Telecommute Status: On-Site; Hadley, MA
Reports to: Digital & Payment Services Assistant Manager
Grade 04: $15.00 - $21.92/hour
