What You'll Get to Do:As a hands-on Digital Signals Processing Engineer, you will Lead a talented team in the development and delivery of tactical solutions for an Army Program of Record system fielded to multiple COCOMsMentor team members and lead the DSP development to provide new technical solutions that can be deployed to fielded systems to support the warfighterDrive the technical approach and capabilities for a high visibility solution and collaborate with other functional areas to ensure technical solutions are implemented in a timely mannerEngage in operational mission activities and oversee the implementation of signal processing solutions to meet mission objectivesDesign, develop, debug, and test signal processing algorithms running on a variety of platforms supporting intelligence, defense, and other government missionsDesign, develop, integrate and test ML/AI software and DSP algorithmsEnhance and maintain existing X-Midas and M2Extra tools which are used by signal analystsHelp define the requirements, CONOPs and architecture for future systemsUse computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasksUse of analytic signal processing toolsYou'll Bring These Qualifications:7+ years of experience in digital signal processing (DSP) and communication theoryExperience programming in either Python, Java, C++, or any object- oriented or functional languageLinux software development experienceUnderstanding of software defined radio systems (receiver architectures, software channelization, modulation/demodulation techniques, spectral analysis)Experience with X-Midas in the development of RF transmission and receiver systems or software defined radioDemonstrated proficiency in communicating technical and analytical information in written productsExposure to all phases of software development lifecycle (concept, design, implementation, test, and production)Demonstrated experience leading highly visible technical solutionsExperience coordinating and delivering prototype and QRC projectsStrong technical experience and backgroundBachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Engineering)Active TS/SCI clearanceThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Experience processing signals using Matlab, Octave, or another software tool suiteExperience with telemetry systemsKnowledge and experience processing digital video formatsExperience in design, development, or testing of weapons systemsDevelopment of link budgets, range estimates, and system sensitivity assessmentsWhat We Can Offer You:We've been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post.Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives.We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities.We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation's highest priorities.For over 55 years, the principles of CACI's unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.-______________________________________________________________________________What You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
