What you'll be doing...
We are looking for a digital media leader who can drive cross-discipline projects designed to enable the success of our Media and other marketing teams. In this role, you will lead as the company's ad verification and brand safety subject matter expert. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and protection of our brand across paid media channels, as well as developing processes to drive efficiencies in our end-to-end digital marketing executions, delivering on time and cost savings.
You will develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with brand safety and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. You will craft digital standards and guidelines. You will monitor campaign performance and the landscape (tech, media, news, etc.) to address any issues in real time. You will review all paid media activities and partner technology to identify potential threats to brand reputation, as well as lead the response to any brand safety incidents or larger crises that may arise that impacts our brand.
Your passion for brand safety and operations will drive the future of Verizon's digital advertising and technology stack.
Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring and establishing best practices for brand safety.
* Establishing standards for Data Integrity, Safety and Privacy with AdTech.
* Building executional processes and delivering solutions for areas of improvement.
* Translating complex technical concepts for leadership and executives and presenting them with fresh approaches that align with the evolving landscape of ad tech today will drive you forward.
* Acting as a subject matter expert for the future of Verizon Digital Media.
What we're looking for
You'll need to have:
* Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
* Six or more years of relevant work experience.
* Experience executing digital advertising campaigns, including URL tagging structures (UTM parameters, CMP codes, macros) and attribution methodologies.
* Experience and knowledge of ad verification and brand safety tools (IAS, DoubleVerify, Moat, Zefr, OpenSlate).
* Experience with media and martech stacks, including Google Campaign Manager, Programmatic DSPs, and analytics suites (Google Analytics, Adobe).
* Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
* Experience with project management, working cross functionally and with external teams.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
* Digital advertising planning and buying experience.
* Experience at a media agency or in-house media team.
* Hands on keys media trafficking experience in ad servers (e.g. CM360, Innovid, etc.), DSPs (e.g. Yahoo!, DV360, Amazon, The Trade Desk), paid social ad managers (e.g. Meta, Snapchat, TikTok).
* Knowledge of analytics tracking and viewability tools.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team in a fast changing environment with changing priorities and changing time constraints.
* Strong change management and communications skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Experience in managing change in order to drive adoption of disruptive technology and new ways of working.
* Passion for problem solving and troubleshooting creative and technical issues.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $115,000.00 and $213,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
