Dining Room Server

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Server to join our team. Our servers work typically 5 hours shifts, and are required to work holidays and weekends. We ask you arrive on time, always smile for our members/guests, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. To excel in this position, you need a high level of customer service skill and a willingness to meet member/guest needs quickly and politely. This position requires prior serving experience to provide excellent, timely service to our members/guests.

Key Responsibilities

* Take and process members and guests orders in a timely fashion.

* Memorize drink and dessert menu for on-demand recitation.

* Be familiar with all menu items and weekly specials.

* Up-sell desserts and drinks as appropriate for members and guests.

* Manage large groups quickly and efficiently through attentive service and precise order taking.

* Maintain fine dining atmosphere and handle member/guests complaints/requests quickly.

* Keep work area clean, and coordinate actions with team members, and all other members of the front and back of the house to ensure flawless customer service.

Physical Requirements:

* Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time.

* Must have good written and oral comprehension and expression .

* Must be able to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

* Must have excellent communication skills.

Skills:

* Positive attitude with a member-facing personality.

* Ability to maintain a cohesive working environment.

* Customer service skills.

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

* Ability to learn and navigate point of sale system.

* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

* Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
