We continually strive to create an environment of trust and transparency by helping employees find a sense of purpose in their job and achieve their highest potential while providing hospitality to those who work and live at South Port Square.ABOUT THE ROLE:The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Culinary Administrative Assistant:* Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary. Provides back-up support to receptionist area when needed.* Pre-Screening all dining applicants.* Fills in as the Host/Hostess or Dining Room Server, etc. as needed* Welcomes and directs residents, employees, and visitors to the department. Properly track and logs visitors with screening requirements.* Maintains filing system as assigned.* Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.* Drafts communication for department manager and distributes accordingly.* Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.* Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers and supervisors.* Prepares agenda and schedules for meetings.* Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.* Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.* Coordinates and plans events for the department while working with other key personnel in other departments (i.e., Marketing, Human Resources, etc.).* Performs other duties as assigned.Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:* High school diploma/associate degree preferred.* Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.* Proven ability with computer and communication skills.* Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.What We Offer:* Work today, get paid tomorrow with DailyPay!
