Job Description:
Responsibilities Laurel Heights Hospital located in Atlanta Georgia has a DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES (Full-time) opportunity. Laurel Heights Hospital is an intensive Residential Treatment/Acute and Autism Spectrum Disorders Program for children and adolescents. We serve and treat severe and complex psychiatric and behavioral difficulties and co-occurring psychiatric issues. We provide a caring, therapeutic setting with various therapeutic modalities and applied behavior analysis services. EOE. Responsibilities:
  • Site Leadership- clinical and operational
  • Responsible for the management and oversight of all employees of your department
  • Organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines
  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Curriculum and Service Line Development
  • Group Facilitation and Observation to ensure curriculum integrity is maintained
  • Interdisciplinary treatment team communication
  • Implement and manage systems to ensure effective communication with clients, families, referral sources and other relevant entities
  • Manage and provide routine reports as requested
  • Fiscal responsibilities and corporate deadlines
  • Census management
  • Safe Work Environment with a positive and healthy culture.
  • Clinical Programming/Program Development Treatment Planning Supervision/Staff
  • Development Policy & Procedure Review & Implementation/ Performance Improvement Administrative/Leadership Human Resources Functions Recreation Therapy

  • Master's Degree or higher
  • Active GA Clinical License (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, CNS)
  • Able to provide clinical supervision
  • 5-8 years of behavioral healthcare leadership experience
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Management of clinical and clerical aspects of a behavioral health facility
  • Understanding of GA State and The Joint Commission Requirements and Regulations for Behavioral Health Services
  • Professional Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Required Behavioral Health Knowledge:
  • Applicable state laws pertaining to Outpatient BH services
  • Corporate expectations, policies, and procedures
