Applicant lists may be screened more than once.**This is a multi-fill position at our Adult Psych, Long Term Care, and Forensic Units with various shifts**. Why does the job exist?Incumbent will provide direct care services to all residents, patients, and clients at NMBHI. How does it get done?Incumbent provides basic care and assistance that may include but not limited to bathing, administering medication, taking vitals, as well as observe and report changes to medical staff. Who are the customers?Patients/Residents/Clients Ideal CandidateIdeal candidate will have: Experience working with treatment teams; Experience working in a hospital setting; Experience working mentally ill clients. Minimum QualificationHigh School Diploma or equivalent. Employment Requirements1. SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITIONSThis position ls designated as safely sensitive. Working ConditionsThis position will perform work in a hospital and office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Exposure to mentally and behaviorally challenged residents who may exhibit unpredictable and sometimes violent behaviors in volatile situations requiring crisis intervention may be required.
