Position Summary:

You'll work closely with our Field Director to ensure exceptional care and team success. Your role will include:

  • Leadership & Oversight: Lead staff to ensure high standards of care, while aligning with company values and operational goals.
  • Training & Compliance: Oversee staff training, maintain documentation, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Financial & Incident Management: Support billing processes, manage consumer funds, address critical incidents, and provide on-call support as needed.
  • Direct Support & Communication: Provide hands-on support to individuals, conduct home visits, and communicate effectively with support coordinators and guardians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Guide and support team leaders, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and values, and collaborate with the Field Director to drive success.
  • Training & Documentation: Manage staff training and development, ensure accurate documentation, and support billing and financial management in partnership with the Field Director.
  • Incident Management: Handle and report critical incidents, provide on-call support, and assist with staffing and recruitment needs.
  • Enrich Culture: Advocate for a Culture of Gentleness, promoting company values and fostering a positive environment.

Qualifications:

You might be a good fit if you:

  • Have experience overseeing multiple programs and managing multiple teams, with prior experience as a Home Manager and Direct Care Worker.
  • Excel in conflict management, critical thinking, and leadership.
  • Embrace Gentle Teaching, focusing on creating safe, nurturing environments through trust, compassion, and positive reinforcement.
  • Are proficient with technology, including payroll systems and project management tools.

Work Conditions:

  • Location: Office in Auburn Hills, MI, with daily travel required within Oakland Counties (some occasional travel in surrounding counties requires.
  • Hours: Typically 50-60 hours per week, with on-call support and direct care as components of the role.
  • Salary: $57k - $60k, with health benefits, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays.
