Position Description:
Behavior Support Specialist PRN is called to fill in for an absent employee or to cover a special situation as needed. A PRN is required to: (1) Work a minimum of four shifts per month; (2) Work at least two agency recognized holidays per year; and (3) Contact your supervisor weekly to inform him/her of your availability to work. The Behavior Support Specialist is accountable, under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor, for the safety and wellbeing of the children and youth assigned to their care. This position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the interventions and activities designed to promote growth and a stable environment as children and youth move through the program toward permanent placement.
