Material Handler #2 (1st Shift) Location: Mayville, WI Pay: $19.34/ hr Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Overtime: Mandatory OT up to 10 hours/day and every other Saturday as needed New Hire Bonus: $1,000 paid in installments ($200 after 3 months, $400 after 6 months, $400 after 12 months with no write-ups during each period) Job Summary: The Material Handler #2 operates forklifts to move and organize materials within the plant, ensuring production runs smoothly. This role requires the ability to handle production orders, maintain organization, and assist with loading/unloading trucks. Key Responsibilities: Forklift Operation: Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and electric hoists to move materials within and between plants. Load and unload materials from trucks. Deliver materials to production areas and collect parts for orders and assembly. Inventory & Organization: Group materials according to production orders, blueprints, and routings. Maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with 5S principles. Remove scrap and waste materials from the department. Safety & Maintenance: Perform daily safety checks on equipment (battery, brakes, lift controls). Follow safe operating practices at all times. Qualifications: Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment (must pass forklift certification). Proficiency in SAP for material management and production orders. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, pushing, pulling). Ability to read and understand production orders, blueprints, and prepare simple reports. Good manual dexterity and vision (corrected) to operate equipment and inspect materials.
