Responsibilities of an entry-level Direct Sales Account Manager:

  • Oversee the sales team to ensure growth of the department
  • Source new leads and secure business through proactive approaches i.e. face to face meetings with prospective clients
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers
  • Assist the sales team by developing strategies focused on financial growth and customer satisfaction
  • Track all records of sales and revenue
  • Active contribution to our growth strategy and wider business plan.
  • Train entry level staff to excel in sales

Requirements of an entry-level Direct Sales Account Manager:

  • At least 0-2 years of Sales, Customer Service, or Direct Sales Account Management experience
  • Excellent presentation skills with groups of all sizes and levels of management
  • Must be able to work independently to achieve sales goals.
  • Ability to travel to meet the demands of the assigned territory.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, however, a candidate will be considered if he/she has equivalent training and experience.

This is a hands-on kind of role. An individual's success will be determined by and compensated based on commissions generated by accounts secured.
