We are searching for full-time and part-time Life Skills Trainers to work in our residential programs located in Glenshaw, PA.ResponsibilitiesDirect Support Professional Responsibilities:* Provides minimum to maximum assistance with all areas of activities of daily living (ADL's).* Promote our clients' success in daily living tasks, recreational activities, vocational pursuits, medication management, and physical and cognitive activities.* Accompanying clients to appointments, in the community and and other outings as assigned* Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clientsDirect Support Professional Benefits:* Comprehensive benefit package (medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) and more)* Tuition reimbursement* Intensive, on-going training* PPE Training and Supplies Provided, COVID testing available* We offer a wide range of settings where clinical and professional skills can be developed!QualificationsDirect Support Professional Qualifications:* A minimum of a HS Diploma/GED required (associate's or Bachelor's preferred)* Must be at least 18 years of age* Valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained* Competence in writing, planning, organization and documentation* Time management skills* The ability to communicate with families, professionals and co-workers* The ability to demonstrate positive client interaction skills* Diplomas from non-U.S. educational institutions must include professional documentation/evaluation that the non-U.S. educational program is equivalent to or exceeds U.S. educational requirements; documentation is required prior to becoming an employee#JTReMed is an equal opportunity Employer
