PathPoint is excited to welcome full-time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our Life Skills Plus day program in Simi Valley, CA 93065. PathPoint's day services provide skills training and support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional, you will lead in-person, community-based, and virtual classes. The curriculum includes art, music, cooking, volunteering, and more. We're looking for creative and compassionate people who are teachers at heart, and we encourage you to bring your own ideas for new curriculum!
About PathPoint: PathPoint is a nonprofit dedicated to helping people flourish. We partner with children, adults, and families to foster hope, build life skills, access support systems, and form meaningful relationships. We serve communities across Kern, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4pm, and the work environment may be a mix of indoor and outdoor settings.
Compensation: This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $23.50 per hour. If you are bilingual (Spanish or ASL), the starting wage is $23.80 per hour. The pay range for this position is $16.03-$24.04. The pay range is subject to change based on a variety of factors.
