DescriptionIntegrations Wellness & Recovery Center, LLC is a family-owned behavioral health clinic located in Hutchinson, MN. We have proudly served our community, offering outpatient mental health services as well as outpatient co-occurring specific substance use disorder treatment services to residents of McLeod County and the surrounding region for the past 10 years. We have recently expanded our services to include a 20-bed co-occurring specific Women's Residential Treatment facility. Our mission at Integrations is to empower every person we serve to embrace their true value and worth, providing a safe space for healing, healthy connection, and evidence-based tools for change. We are seeking caring and qualified individuals to join our close-knit team in support of our mission within our residential program.Position OverviewThe Recovery Technician (Tech) is responsible for providing supervision and support to clients in the residential and/or IOP with Lodging program(s). As an essential part of the multidisciplinary team, Recovery Techs create and maintain an environment that fosters and supports recovery from mental health and substance use disorders. Recovery Techs supervise and manage client behavior, manage crisis situations, and assist in the direct support of a wide range of program goals. This is a direct service position.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the mission and philosophy of Integrations Wellness & Recovery Center, LLC through personal conduct and concern for the agency, management, co-workers, clients, and the community at large both during and outside of work hours, including what is represented on social media.
  • Contribute to the growth of Integrations Wellness & Recovery Center through ideas and suggestions, adapting to the changing needs of the position and program as they occur.
  • Work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure effective treatment for all clients served, from admission through discharge.
  • Role model behavior that is consistent with and supportive of people of divers backgrounds in recovery from mental health and substance use conditions, including understanding and following agency policies & procedures and program rules and regulation.
  • Be available to clients seeking guidance or support, as well as responding appropriately, with professional boundaries and within the scope of the role, to identified clients needs.
  • Monitor the activities of clients, including within the facility, on the grounds, and in the community. Reinforce client strengths and appropriately respond to and redirect behavioral concerns according to program guidelines. Appropriately address any inappropriate or suspected inappropriate client behavior and communicate to the clinical treatment team.
  • Provide consistency in programming by upholding and reinforcing clinical decisions made surrounding client privileges and/or restrictions.
  • Know and understand the Grievance Policy to assist clients in navigating the process to resole grievances at the lowest level in a timely manner.
  • Conduct breath analysis and urinalysis collection as requested.
  • Monitor client health needs and assist in the self-administration and/or administration of medications in accordance with agency policy and medical staff instructions
  • Transport clients to directed activities, appointments, or functions, monitoring behavior, attendance and ensure safe return to the facility.
  • Respond to mental and/or physical health emergencies calmly, professionally, and according to agency policies and procedures.
  • Implement health, safety, and emergency procedures according to agency policy and consistent with OSHA, Minnesota Department of Health, and Department of Human Services regulations.
  • Understands and follows incident/accident reporting policies and procedures and vulnerable adult reporting policies and procedures
  • Complete general cleaning and light maintenance duties and assist/oversee clients' preparation of meals according to a prepared menu.
  • Communicate with families, referral sources, and outside healthcare providers in a professional manner.
  • Maintain and contribute to a physically and emotionally safe, inclusive, and collaborative work and care environment that allows for client-centered healing and growth and that honors, respects, and encourages the sharing of diverse perspectives and experiences by clients and team members.
  • Provide culturally sensitive and relevant services to diverse clients and their families
  • Record pertinent client data within the electronic medical record and electronic medication administration record at a level appropriate to the role consistent with program policies and procedures, MN Statute 245G, and payer specific requirements.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and safeguard personally identifiable health information in accordance with duties and current agency HIPAA notification statement and standards including 42CFR.
  • Complete all required agency training within required timeframes, whether in person or through the web-based Relias training system.
  • Attend and participate in all Case Consultations, Supervision, and Staff Meetings as required based on position.
  • Perform routine support tasks, including filing, copying/scanning/faxing, and answering telephones.
  • Transition duties and responsibilities at each shift change to incoming staff
  • Assists on-duty clinical staff and performs other duties as assigned or required to support the operations of the program.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of substance use disorders and/or mental health and/or direct care experience in a residential setting preferred.
  • Ability to work in alignment with company values, goals, policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of MN Statute Chapter 245G and licensing and its application to the agency's policy and procedures; or ability to obtain knowledge after hire.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative relationships with co-workers and collaborate professionally with others outside of the agency.
  • Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to establish priorities, efficiently complete tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs and Procentive electronic medical record preferred; or ability to obtain proficiency after training.
Education/Licensure/Certification
  • High School Diploma/GED required; some college preferred.
  • Medication Administration training and experience preferred, but not required.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Current Driver's License, in good standing preferred, but not required.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be free from substance use problems prior to hiring as attested to by signing the Freedom from Problematic Substance Use Attestation Form .
  • Ability to pass a background check or obtain a set-aside through the Department of Human Services.
