NKHS is a Designated Agency contracted with the State of Vermont to provide the highest quality of service in the areas of adults with developmental disabilities, children and youth with serious emotional disabilities, and adults with mental health and substance use challenges. Visit us at NKHS.org Check out Life in the NEK of VermontESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SUMMARYWorking with each client, you will assess their needs and tend to them accordingly, with the goal of fostering a positive, encouraging environment. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) will respectfully support and assist the Individual and their Circle of Support team to follow the Individual Support Agreements (ISA) goals and objectives.RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE* Provide support and guidance to individuals in employment settings to enable individuals to obtain and retain employment.* Advocate and assist individuals with relating to family, community and others in a competent and respectful manner.
