We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Lead to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to residents in our group home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the developmental disability field with experience in group home settings. As a Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and coaching staff while fostering a positive community atmosphere and ensuring the well-being and rights of all residents are upheld.

Overview - Requirements:

• High School graduate or GED
• Must not have a criminal record that includes felonies or misdemeanors against persons that are in conflict with the requirements of the position or agency policy
• Valid driver's license
• Less than 6 points on driving record
• Active auto insurance
• Every other weekend required
• Must be able to work 2nd shift
• Rotate on call
• Assist with scheduling staff
• Able to mentor and coach staff to maintain positive team atmosphere and ensure high quality care is given individuals at the home
• Assists with planning, preparing and leading individual and group activities in house and in the community
• Supports, assists and encourages the individuals in all aspects of their personal hygiene which will result in a quality valued lifestyle. Administer meds, assist with meal preparation, household cleaning tasks
• Transport individuals served in a safe and timely manner.
• Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral form
