Position Title: Direct Support Provider Location: Olivewood Home, Olivia, MN Hiring Compensation : Starting wage $15.00-$17.00 per hour depending upon qualifications. Shifts: Olivewood has an opening for a full time support night position including every other weekend. About the job : As a Direct SupportProvider, you will provide training and assistance to people that includes, butnot limited to, daily personal cares, medication administration, communityactivities, money management, meal preparation, laundry assistance, and leisureactivities. Essential job responsibilities include:Monitor and assist people with personal caresInstruct and assist people in food preparation,clean-up, and sanitary practicesEncourage grooming and dress according to theperson's preferences, cultural considerations and social normsAdminister medications and treatments oncetrainedCommunicate concerns, suggestions, potentialproblems to supervisors in an accurate, prompt, and respectful mannerChart daily program informationComplete cleaning and assist persons served incleaning tasks Required Qualifications:Must be 17 years of age or as dictated bylicensureMust pass DHS background clearanceMust have valid driver's licenseMust be able to read, write, comprehend andcommunicate in English Benefit Highlights:Employer contribution towards group medicalplan single premium401(a) Retirement Savings Plan with a 5% employerannual contribution.
