You will manage and coordinate the activities of the drilling crew, providing guidance and resolving any operational issues. Additionally, the you will ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, maintain equipment, and keep detailed records of drilling activities and progress.What Do You Offer Us:Supervise and coordinate the activities of the drilling crew.Plan and schedule drilling operations to meet project timelines and specifications.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols on the job site.Monitor drilling operations and make adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.Provide training and guidance to drill operators and crew members.Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety policies.Inspect drilling equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues or equipment malfunctions.Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, including progress, depth, and location of holes.Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders to report on progress and any issues.Ensure environmental regulations and guidelines are followed during drilling operations.Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for necessary materials and services.Perform administrative duties such as preparing reports and maintaining logs.Review and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and job specifications.Perform all other duties as assigned.What We Offer You:Paid on-the-job technical and professional training to enhance your skills.A defined career path for future growth within our organization.Weekly payroll for your convenience.Industry-leading benefits; medical & prescription, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, paid time off (PTO) and 401(k).Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction are a plus.Must hold a valid Driver's License.Class A or B CDL required.3-5 years Drilling experience (10x15, 24x40, JT10, JT20)Ability to operate equipment, including, but not limited to directional drills, locating systems, trencher, backhoe, excavators, etc.Ability to manage and direct an UG crew, with good communication skills and a positive attitude.Read prints and have knowledge of the underground process, as well as safely locate & verify all utilities before construction.Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, with repeated lifting (up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching.In-depth knowledge of utility construction methods, proper use of tools and materials, and safety practices.3-5 years supervisory experience in utility construction.Proficient in computer skills and ability to use various software.This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
