JOB PURPOSE:This position is responsible for all aspects of clinical instruction programs for the nursing enterprise. This program includes, but is not limited to, the implementation and ongoing development of the Piedmont Clinical Instruction Program. The Director establishes and monitors key indicators which are in alignment with system initiatives and goals. Directly manages Clinical Instructors to ensure consistency in the delivery of the clinical instruction program. The Director serves as an ambassador for Piedmont's Mission, Vision, and Values to academic organizations.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Seven (7) years of nursing experience in an inpatient hospital role.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Current license in the state of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Master's degree in Nursing preferred.Previous supervisory experience preferred.Leadership qualities that demonstrate creativity, innovation, proactive and collaborative relationships.
