Directs the general accounting activities of the University, including financial reporting, financial asset review and management, account analysis and reconciliation, accounting policy compliance, accounting subsystem overview, and coordination with users of the financial accounting system throughout the University. Responsibilities Summary: Serves as a leader of the Strong Memorial Hospital Financial Services Team with direct responsibility for the monthly financial close, reconciliation and reporting processes. Prepares for the Hospital year-end financial statement audit conducted by external auditors while also coordinating audit information needed by University and Medical Center finance offices within established timelines. Partners with senior levels of finance and departmental management to develop strategic operating budgets focused on optimizing business performance.
