Summary of Role:
Responsible for the leadership of Financial Advisors and Senior FA's. Serve as backup for the LPL Program Manager along with Director of Operations. Oversee pipeline management and growth strategies as a Sales Manager for the Advisor Team.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individual business plans and strategies for Broadview Wealth Management Advisory team, including strategic planning along with the Chief Investment Officer.
Develop sales goals, lead pipeline management discussions, identify growth opportunities for individual advisor books of business.
Work with all applicable areas of Broadview Wealth Management to support advisor growth objectives including the Director of Operations, Manager of Business Development, and Manager of Licensed Bankers.
Maintain and develop sales reporting.
Collaborate with marketing lead and CIO to insure support for growth objectives.
Direct training and supervision of Financial Advisors.
Lead hiring, mentoring, administering performance appraisals, and setting developmental goals for areas of oversight.
Other related duties or projects as assigned based on business needs.
All managers are also responsible for:
Contributing to the creation of an annual department budget, followed by a control of assets.
Assisting in the recovery and restoration of tasks assigned in a disaster recovery situation, as well as regular disaster recovery testing.
Creating and maintaining a department manual.
Exhibiting a hands-on, transactional management style.
The performance of employees in your department as they relate to service standards being carried out and business goals being met.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years related experience as a financial advisor, sales manager or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong sales and growth acumen.
Licenses required: NYS Life, Accident & Health Insurance; FINRA Series 7, Series 66 (or 63 & 65)
Strong analytical, computer (Excel), project management and presentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Starting Compensation: $106,508-$138,460 annually, plus a competitive benefits package.
