Job Description Summary
The Director, AML Modeling is responsible for leading projects associated with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) models to prevent and detect the usage of bank products and services for the purposes of money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions avoidance. The primary role of the AML modeling team is to design and develop AML models, applying both quantitative and qualitative methods and approaches to tune and optimize these models.
The incumbent will be an individual contributor as well as lead a team of quantitative professionals by providing strategic and thought leadership to protect the bank from AML risks. The incumbent is also responsible for addressing and executing model risk management activities consistent with framework, best practices, and regulatory guidance.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or an equivalent quantitative field.
Preferred: Master's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or an equivalent quantitative field.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure, and certifications and location.
Base Pay RangeMinimum: $150,000.00 USDMaximum: $245,000.00 USD
