Job Description

Are you interested in leading a dynamic team that provides groundbreaking Technology for the enterprise? Then this is the perfect role for you! In this position, you will have an opportunity to provide meaningful leadership to a team of innovative professionals responsible for supporting PACs, VNA, and imaging-sharing tools like Ambra, Digital Pathology, and Cardiology at MSK.

You Will:

  • Lead and manage a team of skilled managers, application specialists, and technical support staff passionate about digital imaging solutions.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define the strategic vision, roadmap, and development of digital imaging applications that improve medical imaging workflows and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Lead all aspects of the design, architecture, and implementation of software applications, ensuring they meet quality, performance, and security standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of PACS and other diagnostic imaging hardware and software components.
  • Drive continuous improvement by staying updated on industry trends, modern technologies, and standard processes in digital imaging and healthcare IT.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with radiologists, cardiologists, pathologists, and other medical professionals to gather insights and feedback for refining and optimizing our applications.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, encouraging a culture of innovation, teamwork, and excellence.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure the successful delivery of application services
  • Develop and implement protocols for data security, patient privacy, and compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA, DICOM, etc.).

You Have:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in application services or related field, with a focus on healthcare technology and digital imaging solutions.
  • Deep understanding of medical imaging modalities, DICOM standards, and PACS systems.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead technical teams, get results, and encourage innovation.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Superb communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in healthcare, such as HIPAA, and an understanding of data privacy and security practices.
  • Previous experience in running projects from concept to deployment.

#LI-HYBRID Please note this is a hybrid role - onsite 2 days per week at 1275 York Avenue in NYC

Pay Range: $178,200 - $293,900

This role is eligible for a 20% bonus structure. Additionally, we are open to candidates who will require relocation to the NY metro area - this role is eligible for a sign-on bonus towards relocation.
