You are interested in putting your leadership skills forward to help manage a fast-growing operating production site. You want to join a dedicated team of experienced professionals in the renewable energy field.YOUR CHALLENGEYou and your team will be responsible for different storage projects. You will take part in stimulating challenges, including the implementation of asset management optimization, performance monitoring strategies, contract, and partnership management. You will immediately work with skilled and seasoned resources to ensure sites run efficiently and safely.In your role, your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Manage production by making appropriate decisions based on production opportunities that enable exceeding objectives.
  • Optimize revenue of these projects in collaboration with an experienced team of Traders.
  • Manage the different contracts related to these sites (PPA, LTSA, etc.).
  • Actively participate in site financial management and refinancing.
  • Monitor budgets and achieve budgetary targets under your responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders, communities, and partners in the field to meet business objectives.
  • Enforce legislative obligations (e.g., health and safety, environment, etc.) and ensure compliance with various contracts and agreements.
  • Assess the feasibility and implementation of innovative projects to optimize Boralex's current and future operations, and propose such projects.
  • Help define strategies to optimize maintenance.
  • Work with the organization's various departments to improve the company and achieve Boralex's business objectives, including the development and M&A teams.
  • Supervise and support a team of seasoned site managers through a management style focused on accountability and achieving objectives.
  • Design and implement a skill development and succession strategy.
  • Identify problems, suggest solutions, and oversee their implementation.
  • Ensure operational strategies are implemented across your teams.
  • Support the continuous improvement of our operating sites.
  • Oversee performance indicator development and updates.
  • Support your site managers to implement best practices to foster team mobilization.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or any other related training.
  • Management and technical experience in storage projects (5–10 years).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in matrix mode, strong influencing leadership, good listening skills, solution-oriented style.
  • Proven knowledge and skills in managing ongoing development.
  • Experience in renewable energy (an asset).
  • A valid driver's license.
