Director Associate General Counsel - Healthcare

We have partnered with one of the Nation's oldest and largest health plans on a multi-hire campaign. The organization offers to their community and patients affordable insurance coverage including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and individual plans.

We are looking for talented Healthcare Attorneys to join the team who have experience in regulatory work, Medicare and Medicaid plans, as well as provider contracting. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical legal counsel, identify and research legal issues, assess risks, and draft and review essential documents. You will offer hands-on legal guidance to executives and management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Advise on Healthcare Regulations specifically Fraud and Abuse, HIPAA, Medicare and Medicaid, Antikickback and Stark Law.
• Preference to a candidate with experience working with Managed Care arrangements and Provider contracts.

Qualifications:

• JD from Accredited University
• Active Membership to Ohio bar
• 5+ years of experience in the above responsibilities at either a law firm or in house or a combination of both.
• Able to commute in to an office based in Cleveland on a weekly basis.
