This critical role will help position our brands to grow by embedding them within wellness culture and building consumer belief in the benefits of our products. The primary goals are to drive deeper brand relevancy and business growth through the intersection of brand strategy, creative concepts, and channel media strategy (earned, owned, paid).As the consumer marketing lead for Garden of Life & Solgar, you will lead the team responsible for all integrated marketing communication from the brands. Reporting to the Sr Director of Brand Experience, this position interacts with nearly every function within the business at a leadership level, and will partner closely with the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing. The ideal candidate is a strong inspirational team leader who can navigate a matrixed organization, has a proven track record of translating business opportunities into communication strategy and execution, as well as an understanding of the quickly evolving modern marketing media environment.Responsibilities:Lead a marketing communications team with multiple direct reports.Partner with the Senior Director of Brand Experience and In-House Creative resources to establish creative strategy, voice, and tone for the Garden of Life & Solgar brands.Lead integrated annual brand marketing planning for consumer-facing programming.Develop campaign strategies that will build the brand and deliver for the business.Collaborate with e-commerce and retail marketing teams to maximize impact across consumer touchpoints.Build a measurement mindset, establish KPIs, iterate and evolve executions to maximize investments through data-fueled insights.Build relationships and collaborate with senior leaders across multiple functions (Brand Marketing, Media, Consumer Insights, Finance, etc) to deliver upon growth strategies.Provide inspirational leadership and deep marketing capability to a diverse team challenged with accelerated growth.Experience and Education Requirements:Qualifications/Requirements:Minimum Qualification: Undergraduate DegreeMaster's Degree (MBA) PreferredWork Experience:A minimum of 12-15 years prior Consumer Marketing experience (if undergrad degree only) OR 8 years of prior Marketing experience (if Advanced degree)Direct experience leading communications for purpose driven brands (CPG and/or wellness expertise strongly preferred)Preferred Skills:Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently and with a team.Proven expertise in analyzing business and consumer trends/insights and translating them into effective creative strategies that build audience growth, affinity, and engagement.Deep understanding of the media landscape, how it is evolving, and how to integrate creative and media to maximize impact.Passionate about creativity and the wellness cultural landscape.A strategic thinker with a high emotional IQ.Digital native with expertise in building a brand's voice across consumer touchpoints.Entrepreneurial spirit, highly collaborative, strategic mindset, and detail-oriented.Passion for innovative thinking and ways of working.A strength in storytelling with an ability to distill an insight and turn it into inspiration.Prior experience managing and inspiring a team to disrupt the status quo.The approximate pay range for this position is $170,000 to $230,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
