The Director of Brands and Partnerships will be responsible for project managing licensed brand publishing within PRH Audio, driving growth and maximizing opportunities for our diverse portfolio of audiobooks. Additionally, this role will seek out new partnerships within the publishing community and beyond. The Director will be a key player in negotiating deals, fostering relationships, and identifying new avenues for collaboration. Before applying for any role at Penguin Random House, we recommend you review our applicant resources page and our FAQs page.This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working 2-3 days per week at our office in Midtown Manhattan.Responsibilities:Oversees and manages all licensed brand publishing and partnerships for PRH Audio.Develops and executes strategic plans to drive growth.Identifies and negotiates new partnership opportunities to expand our reach and influence.Collaborates with internal teams, including production, marketing, sales, and editorial, to align brand strategies and initiatives.Fosters and maintains strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring mutual benefit and ongoing collaboration.Monitors industry trends.Provides feedback to the print brands teams, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.Prepares and presents regular reports on brand performance and partnership outcomes to senior management.Qualifications:5-10 years of experience in publishing, licensing, acquisitions, or a related fieldExceptional negotiation and communication skillsStrong strategic thinking and analytical abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunitiesProven track record of successful brand management and partnership development preferredFamiliarity with the audiobook industry.The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to company results.Penguin Random House job postings include a good faith compensation range for each open position.
