Director, Broadband OperationsGreat Lakes Energy is looking for a Director, Broadband Operations to direct and oversee our broadband operations and strategic initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to both residential and commercial customers.Who We AreFor over 85 years, we have powered rural communities across 26 counties in western and northern Michigan. We're in need of a dynamic leader to work closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders to advance the goal of ensuring our members have access to high-quality, high-speed internet service. If you're passionate about delivering top-quality internet services to residential and commercial customers and have the strategic mindset to drive growth, this role is for you!Lead Broadband Operations: You'll manage our broadband services, making sure we deliver fast, reliable internet that keeps our customers happy.Drive Business Growth: Develop strategies to improve our offerings and stay ahead in the industry.Ensure Compliance: Work closely with regulatory teams to ensure everything runs smoothly and within guidelines.Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Ensure both residential and business customers get the best possible service, solving any issues quickly and efficiently.Vendor Relationships: Develop and nurture strong partnerships with vendors, ensuring we get the best deals and services.Manage Budgets: Oversee departmental budgets, ensuring resources are used wisely.Lead Projects: From start to finish, you'll be the one planning, executing, and making sure our broadband projects succeed.What You BringA bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is desired, but individuals with a combination of education and experience will be considered.5+ years of experience in broadband or ISP operations, and at least 5 years of supervisory experience.Strong business acumen, leadership skills, and knowledge of broadband technologies like fiber optics.Proficiency in MS Office products.Bonus points if you have a master's degree in business administration and experience at a senior management level.In addition to these requirements, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy collaboration and strategic thinking, and are highly organized with excellent communication and leadership skills.What's in It for You?You are valuable to us, and our benefits are here to show it.
