YOUR IMPACT

As a member of the National Partner team at BBB National Programs, you will play a key role in strengthening the BBB National Programs community and executing on our strategic growth strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Under the leadership of the Vice President, Business Development and National Partners, craft and implement a development model and identify strategies to achieve goals.
  • Meet and exceed established annual acquisition goals for new National Partner recruitment.
  • Create and execute value proposition strategies and proposals to develop viable leads and a robust prospect pipeline that can be converted to National Partners and/or program participants.
  • Achieve revenue objectives by proactively promoting conference sponsorships.
  • Utilize CRM to manage outreach efforts, including the maintenance and development of accounts, contacts and activities.
  • Develop compelling proposals to targeted companies that maximize the value of being a National Partner and other BBB National Programs services.
  • Engage and effectively manage employees who assist with new National Partner acquisition.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and reinforce opportunities to engage with National Partners and program participants and attract prospective National Partners.
  • Propose and support events that reinforce the value of being a National Partner.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years' extensive experience in leading business development.
  • Ability to access and engage with senior corporate executives.
  • Experience developing strategy with demonstrated follow-through that led to successful business growth.
  • Self-starter mentality; must be independently capable of identifying, tracking and advancing business prospects.
  • Effective project management skills and flexibility.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot as necessary.
  • Excellent listening skills and able to translate the needs of a prospect into action items.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Desire to provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Experience supervising others.

  • Experience selling to privacy officers and/or in legal/privacy channels.
  • Privacy compliance vendor sales experience.
  • Fortune 500 or Big 4 firm experience.
